Tenifer® TF 1 Process
Components have been nitrocarburized in salt melts for almost 100 years. Because of its high reliability and cost-effectiveness, the Tenifer® TF 1 process is the leading technology for nitrocarburizing worldwide. Excellent wear resistance combined with a good corrosion resistance are the guarantees for this success. Due to the main process characteristics such as

Tenifer® TF-N Process
Update for the approved Tenifer® TF 1 Process
Although the Tenifer® TF 1 process is recognized as a technology that has been proven over decades, there is still room for further product optimization. By using specially developed additives for the base salts, not only can the process safety be further increased, but the process can also be controlled more easily and energy costs can be saved. With the optimized products you can achieve significantly more compact compound layers, deep-black components and the process becomes even more stable.
The existing TF 1 and AB 1 baths can be upgraded to the Tenifer® TF-N process without the need of a new start up.

Solid nitrocarburizing products
Powder nitriding (Pulnieren) is carried out similarly to pack carburizing with granules and does not require complex equipment. It is a very economical process for the treatment of small series and tools.
